The Pearl of the Atlantic hosted the WTA Europe Gala Ceremony of 2019

Our Island just received for the sixth time the award of Europe’s Leading Island Destination. Being presented with this prize at home it has a special flavor because it further accentuates all that this island has to offer with such a welcoming weather, activities at sea or up in the mountains, inside the protected and astonishing Laurisilva forest.

The ceremony took place last night, 9 of june, at Belmond Reid’s Palace, which hosted the event that was assembled for the World Travel Awards (WTA).
